Water Level Indicator Using ULN2003:
Components Needed for Water level indicator
- 1 x ULN2003 IC
- 8 x 220Ohm Resistors
- 8 x Different Color LEDs
- 1 x 100Ohm Resistor
- 1 x Buzzer
- A Long Ribbon Cable as sensor
- Custom Built PCB or you can build without PCB
- 9v Battery or 12v charger can also be used
Working of Water level indicator using IC ULN2003
we have connected 7 LEDs to the 7 OUT Pins of the IC via 1K Resistors you can also use 220ohm resistor. We used resistor for the protection of LEDs only. We also connected 7 input wires that sense the level of water and trigger the IC.
As water level reach at point 1st the sensor wire trigger the input of IC ULN2003 and in this way 1st LED glows. In this way water level increase and LEDs glow one and after. You can also use buzzer at any point of OUT put i.e. at empty point or at full point. You can also control water pump by using a relay at the full point of output.
Audio source can also be used for load voice at the full point of IC or at the lowest point of IC. You can modify this circuit as you want all possible circuit diagram are given in this post you can also watch video practical.

Stability of this circuit
This is practical post for learning as you know. This circuit is not durable because after some time water will rust the wire that are dipped in water.
