Simple dc load controller circuit using 12v relay: Load controllers are important and gaining popularity because every body want that his home or factory or industry load does not increase more than the certain limit. When load increase more than the limit it cab become the cause of damages in electrical or electronics devices and also may became the cause of fire.

In this article we are going to explain and design Simple dc load controller circuit using 12v relay a DC load in a certain limit. Limit can be set through perineometer. It is a very simple and easy to made at home. Electronics students can also experiment on this circuit and extend its efficiency.  This circuit can also be used to control AC current if we use extended one more relay. This relay will trigger 2nd relay that control AC Current.

Components used in load controller

The following components needed to build this simple DC load controller.

  • 12 volts Relay
  • 1 Transistor BC547 or any other equalint
  • 1k Resistor
  • 2 LEDs ( green and red)
  • perineometer 50k – 100k
  • some piece of wire
